SF Pressure Drop calculates pressure drops of flowing liquids and gases in pipes (laminar and turbulent flow). It's also possible to calculate pressure changes caused by vertical difference of pipe and caused by changes of kinetic energy (dynamic pressure change).
SF Pressure Drop calculates also pressure drops in pipe elements (example: changes of direction) and in diverse fittings (valves, bellows etc.). A list of the calculable elements see site "Information".
It's possible to combine diverse elements and so you will get total pressure drop.
To calculate pressure drop you need data of pipes (rougness) and data of flow medium (density, viscosity). These data are available in several databases. An additional possibility to save your own data is the user-defined database.
SF Pressure Drop 8.x for Excel outputs the data in Microsoft Excel, so is a installed Excel version (version 2007 or newer) necessary.

No More Hardware Dongles!
You have spoken and we have listened! Over the years, the use of hardware keys has been a huge hassle for you and we are now pleased to announce that this latest release uses a dongle-less licensing system. You will not be required to insert a USB dongle key as with previous versions of GPS-X. Network licensing continues to be supported, and users can still have multiple versions of GPS-X on the same computer (the previous versions will still require the USB dongle).

系統需求
PSCAD is a numerically intensive power system transients simulator; a fast and efficient personal computer is recommended for best results. PSCAD is supported on any computer running Microsoft® Windows.
(1)The PSCAD product is sold as either a 32-bit or 64-bit application. The 32-bitapplication will also operate on 64-bit platforms, provided the 64-bit hardware drivers are installed for the USB hardware lock.
(2)The Intel®Fortran Composer XE 2013 compiler has shown to provide EMTDC runtime executables that are significantly faster than those built by its predecessor (Intel Visual Fortran 11). The latest Line Constants Program is also built with this compiler, with significant speed enhancements as well.
NOTE: The Intel Visual Fortran compiler is not supported in the PSCAD Free Edition , which uses only the GFortran 95 compiler.
(3)The PSCAD X4 installer program requires that Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.0 Full be installed prior to installing your PSCAD X4 product. This version of the software comes complete with the Microsoft® Windows 7 operating system, but is not included with Microsoft® Windows Vista. If required, Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.0 Full will automatically be installed along with PSCAD (or you may download and install it by visiting www.microsoft.com
