NetInfo是一組檢測工具，用來獲得以IP相接的各種網絡信息。在設計上NetInfo以相當直觀的圖形界面，並完全利用到Windows系統的點選功能，讓它成為新手或是老手的最好幫手。它可以讓使用者檢查目前的主機和Winsock數據，與另一台主機之間的回傳值、追查通往特定主機的路徑、從網絡信息中心取得名稱、掃瞄在一個IP地址之下的所有主機名稱，並查看主機的服務狀況。這個程序包括一個掃瞄引擎，一個應用程序，它可以從遙控的網頁服務器上取得完整的文件頭信息和網頁數據，以及一個HTML撰寫的協助系統。

可查詢(Local Info)使用者機器的相關資訊，例如你的IP,Domain Name,WinSock 使用版本,作業系統等。
可查詢(Ping)某台網路主機是否存活。
可追蹤(Trace)遠端主機和你電腦間,經過多少個 Router，便利你了解你和某主機間有多遠的"網路距離"。
提供 (Lookup) IP和Domain Name的相互查詢。
可查詢(Finger)遠端主機上的使用者。
