X-Win32 LIVE X-Win32 Version 9, also known as X-Win32 LIVE includes a new LIVE sessions option. LIVE Sessions offer the ability to reconnect to a running session on the remote host after the PC loses its connection to the network due to a Windows crash, power or network failure. Users can also manually suspend and resume sessions and move sessions from one PC another and LIVE sessions feature LAN-like performance over Internet connections, making it possible to work effectively from home and elsewhere outside the LAN. X-Win32 Version 9 更新內容 1) As the name implies LIVE sessions do not die when Windows crashes, or when you have a network or power interruption. You simply reconnect to the LIVE session on the remote host. The LIVE server components keeps the session running. This feature ends 20 years of frustrations among PC X server users who have lost countless sessions due to crashes. 2) LIVE Sessions allow you to SUSPEND your sessions at the end of the day, turn off your PC, and RESUME the sessions the next morning. By the same token, you can suspend sessions to free up space on your desktop while you are not working on the remote host. 3) Mobility! You can also start a session on one PC, suspend it and resume it on another PC, like a computer at home. Using the Flash version of X-Win32 LIVE, you can even run X-Win32 from your USB flash drive, start a session, suspend it, take the USB key to any other Windows computer and resume the session. 4) X Anywhere! Thanks to the compression we added in LIVE connections, for the first time you can work at LAN-like speed over slow Internet connections ... and securely! because LIVE Session run over SSH tunnels. Simple User Interface The X-Win32 user interface features an intuitive and clean design. We have simplified the user interface by automatically determining options that were previously set in the user interface; for example, the network address, which used to be set in the user interface, is now determined automatically for rexec, rsh, and XDMCP sessions. Below are screen shots showing the X-Config user interface, the tray menu, the Session Wizard that assists in creating your sessions, and one of the session status dialogs that give you detailed feedback on the progress of your connection.
